Ashley

I’m Ashley, RVT and Practice Manager at Lauzon Veterinary Hospital. I’ve been in the veterinary field for 20 years, and my journey started on a farm where I was always the kid rounding up stray cats to care for them. That early drive to help animals who couldn’t speak for themselves shaped my entire career.

I studied Veterinary Technology at Northern College, and since then, I’ve developed a strong passion for dentistry—training with dental specialists out west really honed my skills in that area. I also have a deep interest in nutrition and have helped over 100 pets achieve their ideal weight, improving their health and happiness. I spent a decade in emergency medicine, where I thrived in the fast-paced environment and earned my Recovery CPR certification.

I've had the privilege of managing three hospitals, and I love the challenge and reward of guiding a team through growth and success. At Lauzon, I’m proud to have helped cultivate a positive culture and ensure we provide the highest standard of care.

Outside of work, I’m a big fitness enthusiast—you’ll find me weightlifting, boxing, or doing high-intensity workouts. And of course, spending time with Atticus, my 8-year-old Cairn Terrier and unofficial hospital greeter—he’s a proud member of the Lauzon team!
